Large Hand Carved Paris Bench in Driftwood

With hand-tied double-layered caning, intricate hand-carved features, and metal accents reminiscent of French antiques, the Paris Bench is ultimately timeless and classic. The driftwood finish is created with durable and sustainably-farmed Cape Lilac Mahogany from Indonesia. Its grain—similar to oak—is wire brushed to emphasize the whirls and patterns. Then, the wood is stained with a background color and rubbed with cerusing to contrast each ridge, creating a coastal finish. The bench is best at the foot of a bed, flanking a dining table or as a convenient place to sit in a big entryway.
