Kelmescott Hand Block Print in Leaf Green on Ivory
This early twentieth century hand block print was discovered in an English archive and has been reproduced using the original wood blocks, which were first cut and printed in July 1924. The multicolored design is composed of 40 separate blocks and requires 80 blocks to complete one full meter of printing, and 1120 per table length. Its charming scenic design of English country life is freshly interpreted in new colorations for today’s interiors. Its allover pattern and crisp linen ground make it a great option for curtains, chair upholstery and decorative accents in great rooms, libraries and bedrooms.
